Maksibet Sports Betting

Maksibet's sportsbook section covers pre-match and live betting markets across a range of sports and competitions. This guide explains how different betting markets work, how live betting differs from pre-match, what to understand about odds, accumulators and cash-out, and how to approach sports betting in a controlled way. The platform's current schedule, odds and specific market rules always take precedence over general descriptions here.

Pre-match betting

Pre-match markets open before an event begins and close at kick-off or start time. Odds are set based on the sportsbook's assessment of the probability of each outcome. They change as new information comes in — team news, weather conditions, line-up changes — so an odd you saw when you first checked may differ from what is displayed when you confirm a bet.

Common pre-match markets include match result (1X2 for football), Asian handicap, European handicap, total goals or points (over/under), both teams to score, and correct score. Each has its own settlement conditions. Match result markets typically settle on 90-minute results in football, excluding extra time unless stated otherwise. Check the event's specific rules before betting.

Live and in-play betting

Live markets update during the event and reflect the current state of play. Odds can shift significantly within seconds following a goal, a red card or a momentum change. The platform may suspend a market temporarily while reviewing an incident or updating prices. A bet that appears on screen cannot be placed once the market is suspended.

Live betting requires fast decisions. Avoid chasing losses by increasing stakes during an event. A single unfavourable event can change the odds dramatically and a larger stake on an already-unfolding event carries higher risk than a pre-match wager placed with time to consider it.

Sports covered and available competitions

The platform typically includes football, basketball, tennis, volleyball, ice hockey and esports among its regular markets. Major tournaments such as European club football leagues, ATP and WTA tennis circuits, NBA basketball and international competitions tend to attract the deepest market coverage. Niche sports and lower-tier competitions may have fewer available markets. The live schedule depends on what events are active at the time you visit the platform.

Understanding odds formats

Odds can be displayed in decimal, fractional or American (moneyline) format depending on the platform setting. Decimal odds show the total return per unit staked including the original stake: odds of 2.50 on a 100 TRY bet return 250 TRY in total, giving 150 TRY profit. Fractional odds show the profit relative to the stake: 3/2 means 150 TRY profit on a 100 TRY stake. Choose the format you find clearest and check which the platform defaults to in the settings.

Accumulators and combination bets

An accumulator (parlay) combines multiple selections into one bet. All selections must be correct for the bet to win. The potential return is calculated by multiplying the odds of each selection together. A four-fold accumulator with selections at 1.80, 2.00, 1.90 and 2.10 would have combined odds of approximately 12.83. The platform may apply a bonus to large accumulators; read the terms for how it is calculated and what requirements apply.

If one selection is void — because the event was postponed, for example — that selection is typically removed and the accumulator continues with the remaining selections at the remaining combined odds. This can change the overall odds significantly. Check the settlement rules for void and postponed events before placing a combination bet.

Cash-out

Cash-out allows you to settle an open bet before the event ends at a value calculated by the platform. The cash-out value may be higher than your original stake (if your selections are winning) or lower (if they are at risk). Cash-out is not guaranteed to remain available for the full duration of an event and can be withdrawn if a market is suspended. The platform sets the cash-out value and it may differ from what you would calculate manually based on current odds.

Live streaming and statistics

Some events may be available to watch through a stream on the platform, subject to account eligibility and geo-restrictions. Stream feeds can be delayed by several seconds. Do not use a stream as the definitive indicator of what is happening in real time for live betting, as the odds may move faster than the footage shows. Statistics panels and scoreboards are provided as a guide and may also be delayed.

Virtual sports

Virtual sports are computer-simulated events with results generated by a random number generator. They run on a fixed schedule, independent of real-world sport. The betting markets work similarly to pre-match sport, but the outcomes are not related to the performance of real athletes or teams. Read the specific rules of each virtual product before wagering on it.

Responsible sports betting

Sports knowledge does not guarantee winning bets. A result that seems unlikely on paper happens regularly across thousands of matches per week. Set a betting budget before each session, track your spending, and do not increase stakes to recover a loss on a previous wager. Avoid betting on events that run all day without a break — live schedules can make continuous betting easy. If betting is affecting your finances or daily life, use the responsible gaming tools on the platform or seek independent support.
